NHRC allows Shri Somnath Bharthis request for hearing in Khirki Extension incident in Delhi
The National Human Rights Commission, today, allowed the request of Shri Somnath Bharti to be heard in the matter related to human rights violation of some African women nationals in Khirki Extension area of New Delhi on the intervening night of 15th /16th January, 2014. The Commission has fixed the date of hearing on the 13th January, 2015. It has also directed the Government of NCT of Delhi to defer payment of monetary relief to victims, recommended by it on the 29th September, 2014, for a period of two months. |
