CBI ARRESTS A SUB INSPECTOR OF DELHI POLICE WHILE ACCEPTING A BRIBE OF RS.50,000/-
                The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Sub Inspector posted at Police Station Chanakya Puri, New Delhi for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.50,000/- from the Complainant.

                 A case was registered on a complaint alleging that the Sub Inspector has demanded an amount of Rs. 4 Lacs from the Complainant for not falsely implicating him in the case being investigated by the said Sub Inspector. CBI laid a trap and the Sub Inspector was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs.50,000/- from the Complainant in the late evening of 27th November, 2014 near Gurudwara Moti Bagh, New Delhi. Searches were conducted at the residential premises of the said Sub Inspector.

                 The arrested accused is being produced today before the Special Judge, CBI cases, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi.
