CBI ARRESTS AN INSPECTOR OF DELHI POLICE FOR ACCEPTING A BRIBE OF RS.ONE LAKH
             The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested an Inspector of Delhi Police, posted at Police Station Chawla, District South-West, Delhi for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs. One Lakh from the Complainant.

             A case was registered U/s 7 of P.C.Act, 1988 on a complaint alleging that an Inspector, posted at Chawla Police Station, District South-West, Delhi was demanding bribe of Rs.Three Lakhs from the complainant for helping him out of a criminal case against him. A trap was laid and the Inspector was caught red-handed while demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.One Lakh from the complainant. Searches were conducted at his house at Patel Nagar, Gurgaon (Haryana).

             The accused was produced before the Designated Court at Patiala House Courts, New Delhi and was remanded to Judicial Custody till 08.12.2014.
