CHANDIGARH POLICE BUSTED A GANG OF HOUSE-THEIEVES : 05 CASES SOLVED : 04 ARRESTED
| Chandigarh Police arrested 04 accused involved in house-thefts. On 29.08.2013, from near Kishangarh Chowk, Chandigarh, and apprehended accused namely Sanjiv @ Sanju s/o Santar Pal r/o # 1361, Indira Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh & Deepak @ Bhola s/o Prem Lal r/o # 1310, Indira Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh. During the course of investigation, it has been revealed that both these accused are drug-addicts and used to steal house-hold articles from the nearby different places of their locality. Prior to this, accused Sanjiv @ Sanju was arrested in 03 cases of house-theft registered with PS/MM, Chandigarh. On 30.08.2013, all the 04 accused were produced in the court from where 2 juveniles were sent to juvenile home whereas accused Sanjiv @ Sanju & Deepak @ Bhola were under 01 day police remand. Today, accused Deepak & Sanjay were again produced in the court of Sh. Ajit Pal Singh, JMIC/Chandigarh, from where they have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. |
