WANTED CRIMINAL & NOTORIOUS ROBBER WHO OPENED FIRED ON POLICE PARTY AND LOOTED A INNOVA ON GUN POINT IN THE AREA OF PS- MAURYA ENCLEVE, 

APPREHANDED 

            With the arrest of one  accused namely Surender @ Banti two sensational cases of PS- Maurya Encleve, in which accused opened fire on Police Team and looted a Innova car on Gun point, have been solved. Accused is wanted in both the case of PS- Marya Encleve. The details of accused arrested is :

1. Surender @ Banti s/o Chhote Lal r/o H.No. 609, R.R. Block, Naveen Shahdra  Delhi, Age- 23 

 INCIDENT

           

District, police party tried to stop two young boys riding on a Apachi bike. Suddenly the pillion rider, threatened police party by showing Pistol and ran away. Police team followed them by motorcycle and after some distance they left the bike on road and ran away. Police was continuously following them and caught one boy who was later on indentified as Vinit. The other boy was identified as Surender @ Banti. Surender @ Banti, while he was trying to escape from police, looted a Innova car on gun point from the same area. In the mean time the police party reached at the spot and Surender @ Banti then opened fire on police party. Police party also fired on the accused. But accused Surender @ Banti managed to run away. 

He left the looted Innova car near Bhalasva area. Accused Surender @ Banti is a notorious criminal having previous involvement & 12 criminal cases are registered against him.  

TEAM  AND ARREST

leadership of Insp. K.G. Tyagi comprising of SI Mukesh Kumar, SI Jai Singh, SI Neeraj, ASI Omender, Ragender, HC Brehmpal, Rajeev, Ved, Anil, Vikas, Abrar and Ct. Rambir, Satbir, Parvinder, Nitin was constituted.

                  A  Raid was conducted on the basis of the secret information and the accused Surender @ Banti was apprehended from Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, Dallupura, New Ashok Nagar Area. A Pistol along with 4 live cartridges were recovered from the possession of accused Surender @ Banti.  On sustained interrogation, accused confessed his involvement in the cases of PS- Maurya Encleve. 

INTERROGATION

            During interrogation he confessed that on 05/05/15 he alongwith his friend Vinit went to Pitampura area on a bike for the purpose to commit a loot or snatching. They both have Pistol with them. In Pitampura area when they stopped by the police staff for checking, he threatened the police party by showing Pistol and ran away. After some distance, due to jam they left the bike but his friend Vinit was caught by police. He alone ran away and looted a Innova car on gunpoint for the purpose to escape from the police. But the police team continuously followed him so at last he opened fired on police party and in counter police party also fired on him. But he succeeded to run away from there. He left the looted Innova 

years.

           On 05/05/2015, during police checking in the area of PS- Maurya Encleve, North-West Taking into account the gravity of the case, as well as secret information a team under the near Bhalsva area. He also confessed that he bought the pistol and cartridges from one Ravi Pehalwal for a sum of Rs. 25,000/- and told that Ravi Pehalwan is a big supplier of illegal arms and ammunitions.
